Here are some things to help you prepare for your first wax:

• Our aestheticians need at least 3 to 4 weeks (or about a quarter of an inch) of hair growth since your last shave/wax. This ensures the cleanest removal and a less painful procedure.
• It’s good to exfoliate the area every day with an abrasive loofah, the coarser the loofah the better, to take away dead skin cells that may cause ingrown hairs.
• Some people find that taking a couple Advil before their appointment helps the experience be a bit more comfortable.
